Technical Translation

I have worked in a fairly wide spread of industries including industrial supply chain. Most of my work at the moment is Technical Translation since the rates are better! I hold a degree in Business Information Systems from Paris V and Brighton Universities. Please find below my CV which details my database analysis experience from 1994 to 2004.

Audiovisual translation

I have six years’ experience in technical translation and video and audio transcription. I worked on several subtitling projects including for: Com Translations (now Straker): several projects including for France Television, Lylo Media Group Belgium for masterclasses with Eric Emmanuel Schmidt and Kevin Staut.

Management translation

Video capture and editing

I ran a small media business in France (2009-2018) capturing glass plates, slides, Super 8, magnetic and digital. I often did family video editing but also commemorative work such as DVDs for the John Fogerty Fan club France. I filmed and edited a local show in 2013 and composed a one-hour documentary about the changing countryside (no budget)

So I have diverse experience both in France and the UK. I enjoy transcription and subtitling, proofing and translation in both French and English. I hope that my profile is of interest …
